The WVU Men’s Soccer Locker Room project included a complete renovation and expansion of the existing team facilities. The renovation more than doubled the size of the locker room and created a more open layout, allowing the new lockers to be organized in a circular configuration that encourages interaction between players and creates a strong central gathering space. The existing restroom and shower facilities were also renovated and expanded to provide improved amenities and better accommodate the needs of the team.
The renovated facility also includes a new player lounge and kitchenette/nutrition area, providing spaces for players to relax, gather, and prepare before and after practices and games. Modern finishes, integrated LED lighting, and updated architectural elements were incorporated throughout the space to create a contemporary collegiate atmosphere. A retractable projection screen was integrated into the ceiling of the locker room, allowing the space to be used for film review, game preparation, team meetings, and coaching presentations. The completed renovation provides WVU Men’s Soccer with a modern and functional team environment designed to support daily operations while also creating an exciting space for current players and a strong recruiting experience for prospective student-athletes.
